Katie
is a co-founder of The Media Gurus with Louis Hird.
Katie has more than 20
years experience in Public Relations, advertising & marketing working within
Australia, the UK and internationally giving her extensive experience in a wide
range of markets and jurisdictions.
In
1988 Katie joined joined Martin & Savage Pty Ltd a fabric distribution company
in Sydney, Australia working in a PR & marketing role.

1994 Katie joined
Lee Manfred
Public Relations Pty Ltd, the Public Relations company which still today
consults to Martin & Savage.
Katie assisted Lee Manfred in developing the
business and became a partner. Their client list grew as did their reputation.

Menswear, Fiorelli, Bendon Lingerie, Hickory Lingerie, OPSM, Oroton, Martin &
Savage, Anthea Crawford, Brian Rochford, The Australian Fashion Awards, Katies,
Westfield Shoppingtowns, Diane Freis, Image, Earth Crew Menswear, FMC Menswear,
Elle Effe Footwear including Panama Jack, Pura Lopez and Blue Heart Footwear.

In 1999 Katie left Australia to
live in London, England to be with Louis. They married in January 2001. Katie joined Direct Recruitment and
successfully set up and ran the Public Relation Recruitment division of the
company.
In 2001 Katie left Direct
Recruitment and set up her own Public Relations Company KBPR which she still
runs today.
Katie has a number of clients
in industries ranging from beauty & dietary products to Savile Row tailors &
motor dealerships.
In 2002 Katie assisted Louis in
the formation of The Media Gurus.
In 2005 Katie, Louis and their
two children relocated their home and business to Mazamet France.
In 2007 Katie co-founded
International Food UK Ltd, a speciality wholesale food distribution company
importing delicatessen foods from throughout the world to the UK market.
